Meet the Founder

Founder’s Message

Dear friends,
Welcome to Eve’s Armchair.
I am truly delighted that you are here.
Eve’s Armchair is more than a platform—it is a passion project born from a deep desire to create a safe space where women feel seen, heard, valued and supported.
Founded on the simple belief that no woman should have to carry life’s burdens alone.

As a Certified Women’s Wellness Coach, a School Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and an LLB graduate, my work has always been rooted in supporting people and promoting emotional wellbeing.  This passion also extends through my work with Global Works Charity, where I am committed to creating positive change within vulnerable communities.

Eve’s Armchair was created in response to a reality many women experience—being strong for everyone else while having little space to acknowledge their own needs. Our mission is to encourage honest conversations around mental health and wellbeing, empower women to prioritise themselves without guilt, and provide practical tools, inspiration and connection.

The inspiration for Eve’s Armchair came from recognising a common thread among so many women. Quite often, there is little room to simply pause, reflect or admit that we need support too…
Our mission is to encourage honest conversations around mental health and wellbeing, empower women to prioritise themselves without guilt, and provide practical tools, encouragement and community for every stage of life’s journey. In our community, vulnerability is welcomed, healing is celebrated, and self-care is recognised not as a luxury, but as a necessity.

My vision is to build a trusted community where women from all walks of life can find inspiration, connection and hope—a place where every woman feels equipped to live with greater purpose, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Whether you are here to learn, to heal, to grow, or simply to take a moment for yourself, I hope you will find comfort in knowing that you belong here.

Thank you for being part of the Eve’s Armchair community. Together, we can break the silence surrounding mental wellbeing, inspire meaningful change, and build a future where women and communities alike are empowered to thrive.

With gratitude,

Bridget Soma Nketsiah
